Pathfinder Friends

Hello to all our friends.

First, let me apologize for going so long without a newsletter.  We temporairily lost our contact list and have changed our host.  So, going forward there shouldn't be any problems.

Let me catch you all up as best as I can.  Here's the short version.  In May we stayed busy.  Our van was stolen but whoever took it was kind enough to leave the trailer with all the equipment.  In June, Dearl and I both moved into our new homes.  We didn't get to do much singing because we were so busy.  It's July and we have gotten back to a very busy schedule.  Two weeks ago we were in Cleveland NC on Thursday night at CJ's BBQ Restaurant.  We really enjoyed ourselves.  The folks were so friendly.  Friday night, Dearl and I went to Atlanta and taped the Atlanta Live TV Program.  It was great, but the camera didn't do us any favors.  Last week we went to Youngstown Ohio and had the pleasure to sing at one of our favorite churches, First UMC of Austintown.  It was great seeing you folks again.  We enjoyed a great evening with our very dear friends, Rich and Barb Weimer.  They fed us very well and let me and Dearl win at playing Shang-Hai.  On our way home we stopped in Akron OH and sang at Hope UMC.  Pastor Tom and Ms. Lois have become very special to us and our ministry and it was great worshipping with them again.  This weekend we are at home in Mt Holly NC .  We'll be at Tuckaseegee Baptist at 6:00 pm on Sunday evening.  Come on out if you can.  Next week, we will be in Nashville TN on Friday working on radio promotions and will be in Ozark Alabama on Saturday and Sunday. 

Dearl has been doing good.  He and his family are settling in their new home.  We found out yesterday that his son and daughter in law will be having another little girl for us to spoil this winter.  Brian is doing well.  He has started a new job and is staying very busy.  I am doing great.  I just bought my first house.  If you know anybody that needs a mobile home, call me.  I have one I need to sell. 

I will go into more detail in the next email about our van that was stolen and how God ministered to me thru a 7 year old boy while we were going through that ordeal.
