Pathfinder FriendsHello Friends,
Hope everyone is doing well. The Pathfinders have been pretty busy this month. The last newsletter we sent out was on July 29th so here's everything that's been going on since then. On July 31st, we traveled to Nashville TN to meet with our friends at Solid Gospel Radio. We had the honor to spend some time doing radio interviews and meeting everybody who helps promote our song on the internet. Friday night we got home @ 9:30 and left Saturday morning @ 5:00 and traveled to Ozark AL. We had 3 great concerts there and returned home Monday morning @ 4:30 am. We traveled right at 2000 miles that weekend, but it was worth it. Unfortunately, I'm not as young as I used to be and that was a tough weekend for me. It took me a week to get over it. The next 3 weeks we had the privilege to sing at Homecoming services for Trinity Ind Baptist in Bessemer City NC, Coral Park Baptist in Lincolnton NC and Hickory Bethel Wesleyan in Lincolnton NC. It sure is hard being on a diet with all these Homecomings we get to go to, but we really enjoy it. We would appreciate you taking a few minutes to go to www.gospelmusictimes.com and vote for our songs. If you go to the right side of the page in the top red box select "vote now". We have two songs on this chart, "Breath That Gives Me Life" and "On The Authority". We'd appreciate your help with this. We feel that these songs have a special message and we want everyone to hear them. Having your vote helps us keep these songs on the radio. This weekend we will be spending time with our families and at our own church. We'll be leaving the following week to go to the National Quartet Convention in Louisville KY. If you ever get the chance to go you would really enjoy it. Please remember Dearl in your prayers. This week we took him to the doctor for kidney stones again and they found 6 stones. He is in a lot of pain. Brian is doing well. He enjoys his new job and is doing a great job of entertaining Dearl and I when we're traveling. My family is doing well. You may remember my dad, Bert. He has drove our bus for us since we got it. Keep him in your prayers he is dealing with some issues with his sight. We know that God can heal both him and Dearl. As you start planning for your 2010 events and homecomings please keep us in mind. We would love the opportunity to come and worship with you. Have a safe Labor Day weekend. We love you all. In HIS Service, Dawn The Pathfinders
