GASTONIA, N.C. - The Pathfinders’ current single has become the group’s latest charting song.

The song, “Breath That Gives Me Life,” will debut at #60 on the upcoming June 2009 issue of the Singing News Magazine’s Top 80 chart – the industry’s leading airplay chart.

“We are very excited that this song is making such an impact at Southern Gospel radio,” mentioned Dearl Lemons.  “We are so happy that it is connecting with people all across the country.”

In addition, “Breath That Gives Me Life” is currently charting at #37 on the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart and #35 on the GospelMusicTimes.com Top 40 Fan Chart this week.

Dawn McGuire of The Pathfinders said, “This song is so much fun to sing in concert, and the audiences really connect with it.”

“Breath That Gives Me Life” ranked as one of the Top 10 New Releases according to the March 2009 issue of the Singing News Magazine Top 80 chart – becoming the eighth most added song of that month.

The Pathfinders recently reached a radio promotions agreement Spin-N-Motion Radio Promotions.  “Breath That Gives Me Life” was released in January to Southern Gospel Radio.  The song can be found on Spin-N-Motion Radio Promotions January 2009 compilation disc, cut #2.

“Breath That Gives Me Life,” which was written by Beverly Sapp, is the third single from The Pathfinders’ latest release, Mercy Answered.  The album’s first two singles, “I Don’t Sail Alone” and “Gabriel,” charted on both the Singing News Top 80 and SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart.
